The FNS-9™ Compact Semi-Auto Pistol offers striker-fired simplicity in a polymer frame pistol, with fine details to enhance dependability, accuracy, as well as value. The double-action trigger pull on the FNS-9 semi-automatic pistol is short and smooth, and the trigger reset is positive. Several safety features are incorporated into the trigger to prevent the pistol from firing unless the trigger is pulled all the way to the rear and the slide is all the way forward. The FNS has no magazine safety. The grip portion of the polymer frame can be adjusted to fit the user’s hand perfectly with 2 interchangeable backstraps. Texturing goes all the way around the grip to provide a solid non-slip hold, without being abrasive to the shooter’s hands or clothing. The front of the triggerguard also has serrations to enhance fire control with the shooter’s off hand. The frame has a MIL-STD 1913 accessory rail in front of the trigger guard for attaching optional aftermarket laser sights or tactical lights. The slide of the FNS Series Pistol is constructed of stainless steel, with a non-reflective matte black finish. Serrations on both the front and rear of the slide provide a solid grip when loading, unloading, or clearing the weapon. The slide makes solid contact with steel rails on a replaceable steel sub frame within the polymer frame, and a steel recoil spring guide rod enhances reliability and longevity. The metal, 3-dot sights are dovetailed into the slide, and can be drift adjusted for windage or replaced with aftermarket night sights. The magazine release and slide release are easy to reach and fully ambidextrous. The FN FNS-9 Compact Semi-Auto Pistol comes with 3 magazines, constructed of polished steel, and a quality storage case. Made in USA.
