Description

This suppressor does not come with a mount, this suppressor does not come with a mount, this suppressor does not come with a mount.  Infinity is 1.375×24 HUB threaded which is the industry standard universal mounting system. There’s hundreds of combinations of mounts and stuff that work in this suppressor including Dead Air Key-Mo, Rearden Atlas, etc.

INFINITY — We decided to call this project Infinity early on because we wanted this to be a suppressor that will last you forever, you can pass down to your grandchildren and it last them forever too. Also because of it’s adjustability and ability to be configured to any host you have. It’s also marks our entry into the low back pressure market. Notice I didn’t say no back pressure, I said lowER back pressure. We wanted this suppressor to straddle the line of suppressors with zero back pressure that sound like a pipe bomb and suppressors with high back pressure that sound great. There’s no free lunch when it comes to sound suppression. You either have a suppressor that’s loud with zero gas to the face or you have a suppressor that’s quiet with some uncomfortable gas to the face, it just is what it is. We wanted a suppressor that could ride the middle ground line and venture to both sides of the line depending on what the user wanted.

So let’s cut through the bull shit and get down to the nitty gritty of what this suppressor does and what makes it unique. We knew we wanted it to be 7.62 bore with changeable end caps. We knew we wanted it to have great 7.62 performance but let’s not kid ourselves, 99% of users buying a 7.62 bore suppressor are using it on 5.56 most of the time. So the 5.56 performance also had to be on point. We developed the general sound profile using 7.62 and then further dialed it in and refined it using 5.56 – we made over 100 prototypes in almost 2 years of testing finding just the right combination that does just as good on 5.56 as an actual 5.56 bore suppressor while still offering great 7.62 performance AND works well being vented or unvented.

It has 3 different end caps that come in the box to adjust the back pressure and flow rate based on what host you want to use it on. Additional end caps are available for purchase separately. Other suppressors in the past have tried this idea, adjusting back pressure by changing end caps that allow it to vent from other chambers. But in our opinion they didn’t do a good job – great idea but poor execution. So we wanted to take that idea and make it good and I believe we’ve done that. How we did it is the inside of the infinity is actually divided up into 4 chambers. The first initial expansion chamber vents gas straight off of the muzzle as it enters the suppressor > the second is a high back pressure chamber that holds the gas while allowing a small amount of controlled flow into the third chamber > the third chamber is where gasses coming down the bore and gasses from the high back pressure chamber combine before going into the fourth chamber > the fourth and final chamber is a low back pressure high flow rate zone that moves gasses down the side wall. When you use the vented end cap it’s only venting gasses out of the fourth chamber which allows it to be very balanced. When using the vented end cap the pattern is vent > hold > combine > vent. When using the solid end cap the pattern is vent > hold > combine > hold.

Solid 5.56 end cap (included) — The highest back pressure setting for this suppressor. Sound suppression similar to a Polonium or Polonium-K and depending on the host you might need to tune it. BUT if you’re one of those people who don’t care to tune a gun and you want max quiet on your 5.56 rifles this is the end cap you’ll want to use. It offers excellent sound performance and flash reduction. It can also be used on 6mm/243 bolt action rifles.

Vented 7.62 end cap (included) — The lowEST back pressure setting for this suppressor. If you are running on a back pressure sensitive 5.56 host or any semi auto 7.62 rifle this is the end cap you want to be using. This end cap is going to be for your MCX, Scar, AR10, Tavor, AK platform guns and over gassed AR15 pattern guns with gas ports so gaped it would make a pornstar blush. Basically any gun or any use case where you want the least amount of back pressure this is the end cap you want to be using.

Solid 7.62 end cap (included) — This is the goldilocks end cap, the middle child. It’s right between the other two we just went over. On 5.56 rifles it offers a medium back pressure setting and works great on guns that aren’t gas sensitive but aren’t necessarily tuned either. This is also the end cap you’re going to want to use on 6.5mm, 7mm or 7.62mm bolt guns or subsonic 300 blackout.

Vented 5.56 end cap (available for purchase separately) — This is kind of a niche end cap. It reduces back pressure when compared to the 5.56 solid end cap or 7.62 solid end cap but not as much as the 7.62 vented end cap. If you have a gun where it needs to be a little less back pressure than the 5.56 solid but a little more back pressure than the 7.62 vented this fills that gap. Most users will not need this end cap in our opinion which is why it’s not included.

So there you have it, that’s the end cap system explained and you have an end cap to optimize the suppressor for just about whatever you want to do with it. Changing end caps is quick and easy and comes with a wrench in the box to do it with.

Being made from DMLS 3D printed & heat treated 718 inconel this thing is tough as nails. No barrel length restrictions, no firing schedule restrictions on magazine fed guns. On belt fed 5.56 guns we recommend not exceeding a 300 round solid string of non stop fire without a cool down period. On 7.62 belt fed guns we do not recommend exceeding a 200 round solid string of non stop fire without a cooldown period. If you are running it on a belt fed you need to be using the vented end cap. This suppressor has been tested to the most brutal extremes we can think of and has handled anything we’ve thrown at it. Yea yea yea it’s a little on the “heavy” side, there’s plenty of lightweight less durable options if that’s your thing. But this thing is built to last.
